This past weekend I had to make some pops for a little girl and then some for an older guy. They were pretty basic designs but I still wanted them to be beautiful of course! I went to this little shop to buy the necessary ingredients and found these super cute pink, purple, and lime green confetti sprinkles. I decided to go off of those for my girly pops. As for the boyish ones I went with all things blue! I also tried out a new flavor – Cherry. I made some extra cherry flavored ones so that my co-workers (who are my official taste testers) could try them out! They went over really well especially for those who are not chocolate fans. So it has officially been added to my ‘flavors’ list!
Under the Sea Cake Pops – Happy B-day Lucas!
When my boyfriend’s nephew’s 2nd birthday party rolled around last week I just had to make some cake pops! His invitation had an octopus on it so I thought I would go with a full on “Under the Sea” theme! I needed to make about 25 pops so I had my dad build a stand to display them, which he did! (Thanks Dad!) I wanted a very colorful display so I decided to make red crabs, purple octopus, and yellow and green fishes. They turned out super cute! I added a blue ribbon and his name in foam letters to give it a personal touch.
Welcome!
